Just to add some information, this bug is not related to ubuntu (it happens also with opensuse :-) but with Openoffice when used in conjuction with another JAVA application running. I've noticed that when using JDownloader this bug occurs, and not when otherwise. So I would classify it as

Simply running LibreOffice along a Java app isn't enough to crash it, as I'm running Eclipse (definitely a Java app), and still can not reproduce the problem. It has been invalidated only because it does not have enough information to fix the bug, and when a proper bugreport with the crash
