It worked well in 11.04 but now it does nothing when usb plugged to the computer
In syslog it appears a line saying
mtp-probe: bus: 1, device: 10 was not an MTP device
That points to an MTP problem, but I'm not capable of debugging more
Updated kernel to 3.0.0-13-generic and installed gphoto2 with no luck
