Public bug reported: After upgrading to UBUNTU 11.10 SciLab hangs trying to plot. I see a group org-scilab-modules-co... with 3 elements: [SciLab console] - not responding Java - no window [Graphic window number 0] - gray, not responding I try Xorg-Edgers Driver without any result. I try VirtualBox with Ubuntu 11.04 but plot works normally until installing VirtualBox Guest Additions. After installing Additions the program closes trying to plot. I try VirtualBox with Windows Server 2003 R2 official Microsoft trial VHD virtual disk. The plot command works. I try different versions of SciLab including Nightly Build (last unstable version) with the same result. But Nightly Build stay UNKILLABLE after plot command. All other programs work normally. I try to report this bug to SciLab Bugzilla but the answer is: incorrect graphics holding in new UBUNTU version. I try to report to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42467 but the answer is recommendation to report this bug to You. Please help me.
