Thanks for filing the bug but it appears that applications not showing
up in the alt-tab menu is only specific to you, since applications show
up on the menu for me whether they are launched from the launcher or
started from the shell.

That was a good question. It looks like it may only be LibreOffice that
has the problems. Other packages seem to show up ok. Can you see if
you can duplicate the bug with LibreOffice?

Hope I could, but I don't have it installed at the moment and 100Mbs on
a slow network will be a lot of pain.
