Public bug reported: I am now experiencing this over two versions (10.10. and 11.04, both 32 bit):
When printing photos or small or big PDFs, the printer prints one or two correct pages and then a page on which it only prints "Insufficient memory" and some error code. Installed cups version is 1.4.6-5ubuntu1.4. No proprietary driver has been installed on the test system, just plug and play (unfortunately no good play). No such problem with MS Windows (sorry, guys). The printer is pretty standard and SAMSUNG even advertises it as compatible with various Linux distributions. It is pretty much up to date and still in sale. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/886262 Title: Printer SAMSUNG ML-1630 often prints "insufficient memory" when used with Ubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/886262/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
