Bug present on a toshiba satellite l655 under kubuntu 12.04 using kernel
3.2.0-25.
Same problem but I can change the screen brigthness using xrandr
--output LVDS --brightness command.

I can confirm this bug is also present using Ubuntu and Kubuntu 11.10
with a Samsung RV520 laptop. It seems like the brightness of the LCD
panel is changed using the graphic card, an Nvidia card in this case.
