Not sure why I didn't reply earlier Removing the iRiver entry in Amarok does not enable the iRiver to be seen automatically. The device is listed in kinfocenter's usb list. Also, Amarok does automatically detect Mass Storage Devices (such as the memory stick for my camera) and try to manage

Whenever I attach a device to my laptop, Amarok detects that change (just like KDE pops up the "what do you want to do with this" box) and asks me what kind of device it is. Try removing the manually created device in the Media Devices side-tab and disconnecting and reconnecting the device. I'm n

Thanks for the bug. Is ifp an option in how Amarok connects to the device? Please check Configure Amarok -> Media Devices -> Add Device -> Plugin. There should be an option that reads "iRiver iFP Media Device" If there's not, then that probably means that the version of Amarok in the repositori
