Plug-in crash cannot be easily addressed in this version, therefore it
is suggested by upstream to temporary disable plugins. See bug 88759

What do we do about strigi daemon segfaulting? How grave is the problem?
If we want this in, we better hurry - it will need testing for sure.

without any doubt strigi 0.3.11 is better than strigi 0.3.9 for feisty .
As luka said, strigi is under heavy development. At the moment, we have
just one problem: strigi-plugins. It makes strigi daemon segfault.

Reinhard, I agree that there are quite some changes between the
releases, but this is due to the fact that strigi is still "beta
technology" and in heavy development. It is targeted for KDE4 and is
primarily using KDE3 users for test base.
Last version was released for debian in January and we cou

changes, I'm not sure that the new version is better for feisty.
