Public bug reported: Unfortunately I need Moonlight installed to use an internal intranet site. After following link on the 'net I found a suggestion it should be apt-get 'able. However according to the package page: http://packages.ubuntu.com/source/natty/moon there is no version built for Oneirc. Ubuntu Updates seems to think that it was but got deleted (http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/packages/show/345225). I've done a bit of searching but couldn't find any announcement of Moonlight being dropped from the repos which leaves the current state of Moonlight in Ubuntu as confusing at best.
It should either be clearly documented as no longer supported or there should be packages for Oneiric. ** Affects: moon (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: documentation missing -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/890167 Title: Moonlight not available for Oneiric Ocelot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/moon/+bug/890167/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
