3.2 does not work well with lucid, broadcom wireless and suspend are
broken, it seems the api has changed. It would often crash when
returning from suspend, so I'm not able to test that. It crashes
randomly, so I don't know if 3.2 has the bug also.

Do you know if this issue happens in other versions of the Ubuntu
kernel, or just the 2.6.38 backported kernel?
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? It
will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to
