but what is a gnome-panel restart?
I tried a terminal and typed: gnome-panel restart
and with the same result: killall gnome-panel
That changed nothing.
Of course, I loged out and in before and shut the computer down und up
again.

deleting my folder .local and a gdm restart solved the problem. After
that both apps were in the right menus.
