Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

My wired Internet connection works well in Ubuntu Feisty but Network
manager doesn't display its activity (i.e. the 2 monitors in the icon
applet don't flash intermittently if I download something or browse
webpages as they do in Edgy or in other distros).

If I move the mouse cursor over Network Manager the tooltip says "Wired
Network connection".

If I select "Connection information" from Network Manager I get:

Interface: Wired ethernet
Speed: 100Mb/s
Driver: skge

and other details about my IP, etc.

I use Network Manager version 0.6.4-6ubuntu2

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
