Assuming the problem is still here after updating all the packages in Feisty to
their latest versions could you upload the file dmesg.txt produced by running
dmesg dmesg.txt
and add the output of the following command:
dpkg -l nvidia-\* | grep ii
to this bug report?

there is no xorg.log. Do you mean Xorg.0.log? I attached it. After
playing around a bit, I got Xorg to load with nvidia module if I did a
ctrl + alt + backspace. I had to use the nv module to load gdm when
booting the system though.
