Public bug reported:

On my system (kubuntu feisty fawn, herd 4), everytime i start kubuntu
the numlock LED on my keyboard gets turned on, but still, i can't use
the numpad to enter numbers. After pressing the numlock key, the LED
turns off, pressing it another time turns it on again, and makes the
numpad behave properly. I don't know which information is relevant, so
please let me know if you need some more info. I have fully updated my
system using aptitude, and my keyboard is connected through usb.
