This is a bogus bug. Was not aware of the fact that the photograph's
permissions had been changed after a re-install.
Discovered this today and set permissions right. f-spot-screensaver works fine.

putting photo's in the screensaver f-spot photo's doesn't work. The
dialogue box reporting the problem, crashes immediately, so it's impossible to
read the details.
f-spot ran into fatal error is the only thing I can
