Screen dims even automatic dimming is tur
The UI design of "gnome-control-center screen" is very confuseing
* "Dim screen to save power" changed idle-dim-battery (GSD_POWER_IDLE_MODE_DIM)
* "Turn screen off when inactive" changed sleep-display-ac and
sleep-display-battery. (GSD_POWER_IDLE_MODE_BLANK)
Both are not interrelated after all.
The 2 solution to fix gnome-session will caused screensaver never be
actived. So better to fix it in g-s-d.

Also confirmed this issue in precise.
We have two solutions -
1. Make sure g-s-d check idle-dim-* settings in gconf (gnome-control-center
screen)
org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power idle-dim-ac true
org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power idle-dim-battery true
2. Fix gnome-session, to inhib
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
