NOTE ! this bug is a duplicate of #897681 also reported by me , this time
apport caught it so I let it send the report to give more info .
NOTE ! Nvidia-173 is categorically incorrect for my video card . My card
nvidia 7600gs uses the nvidia-current driver .
NOTE ! the nvidia-current driver also fails to install when installed
from console with apt-get install . the nvidia 290.10 direct from nvidia
and installed from console work correctly .
