As this is a 32bits printer driver, you must do the following steps:
Download the actual drivers on Brother website.
Open the terminal and use the commands:
sudo apt remove printer-driver-ptouch
sudo apt-get install lib32z1
sudo dpkg -i --force-all ql650tdlpr-1.0.1-0.i386.deb
sudo dpkg
I was finally able to print to QL 650 TD. Here is how I did it :
Went here:
http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public/us/us/en/dlf/download_top.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=lpql650eus
Then clicked on "For Linux Users: Click here to get the Linux driver."
Then it took me here:

Hi,
I would like to inform you, this bug still exists with Brother QL-650TD.
The printer recognised, installed the driver automaticaly (Ubuntu just do it),
but not possible to print because garbage come out.
Please check the attachment.
Brother provides an old driver (lpr and cupswrapper) but not
