Public bug reported: After the kernel update the machine takes ages to boot. At first I thought that the machine was not booting at all, but in fact it is, only taking an absurd amount of time where no disk activity is shown.
The boot appears to hang at /scripts/init-bottom. The same symptom is present with the 3.2RC4 kernel on the mainline ppa.
