The 18 month support period for Feisty Fawn 7.04 has reached it's end of
life - http://www.ubuntu.com/news/ubuntu-7.04-end-of-life . As a result
we are closing the linux-source-2.6.20 task.
I did however glance at the Intrepid Ibex 8.10 kernel and saw the
following:

I would like to see this increased to at least 16. I have a quad quad-
core system, so it has 16 cpus.

(-server on amd64 also has NR_CPUS=64, sorry, I assumed i386 but it
occured to me that this might not be the case.)

The server-bigiron kernel has NR_CPUS set to 64, and is only trivially
different from the -generic or -server kernels. 16 core machines are not
prevalent enough (and certainly won't be) during Edgy's life-time.
I am not adverse to increasing NR_CPUS to 16 on Feisty's generic kernels
though, will o
