On (X)Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64-bit, 
>From week or two ago, 
update manager displays repeated broken picture of the first displayed program 
on the top of the list.

It does not seems to affect other functionality for now, 
besides feeling from the average user that update program is broken, 
due to wrongly displaying program list to update from. 

It would be nice not to have things such as this at the LTS release (bug
did not show itself since very recently actually).
