Thanks for the update, I was not aware of james' comments. So, as far as
I can see there is no guarantee that USC will receive the first title-
changed, nor the second, nor the tenth. So, I still think that having
the web page reload itself is not the proper solution, given that the

that stuck. The plan was to have the client handle the UI straight after
the purchase was initiated - bug 622732 - initially with the client
polling sca via an API, but ultimately removing the need to poll at all

Looking at the webstats the problem has been there all along, but we
didn't really understand what the logs were pointing at before. Noodles
mentioned the issue about having lots of requests to the checkout
complete url quite some time ago, before I even created this bug.

So, the _block_wk_handlers() method of
softwarecenter/ui/gtk3/views/purchaseview.py is meant to block the
title_change events after a successful purchase. This was added as part
of the fix for bug 696861. This code has been there since Natty (April
of 2011).
