applications.xml. I haven't had time to check yet, but for now I'll
reopen the bug.

I don't have any objections, as long as the translations aren't
affected.
I'm attaching a patch for branches/feisty which drops anything to do
with enabling universe/multiverse and makes some other small
adjustments.

I did a few edits to the Kubuntu doc and tried to take this into
account. I would not object to an exception so that we can make another
review.

This doesn't affect Kubuntu docs. The front page of add-applications has
a note, and every instance of documentation that referred to enabling
Universe and Multiverse had been removed.
