Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: migration-assistant

Migration-Assistant doesn't seem to be working for me; I was using the
64bit version of herd 5. When I try to install normally, I can proceed
through the install to the migration-assistant step. At this point the
crash-helper thing pops up saying ubiquity crashed, and the window sits
there "thinking" indefinitely, although it is still possible to cancel
the install. I tried passing --no-assistant (or whatever the command is)
through the command line and got through all the install phase,
unfortunately just before it finished it crashed. The console showed
that it appeared to have been trying to do something involving the
assistant when it crashed.

** Affects: migration-assistant (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
