I can't reproduce the bug here. Can you get a backtrace to see if it matches
Jani's ? (Jani's seem a bit touchy; lots of warnings about mismatched crc's in
the debug libs).

I can either confirm this bug or report a very very similar one since
the upgrade in Precise.
Whenever I press shift, synergys will simply die with a segfault.
Downgrading back to 1.3.6 fixes it.
