I have this problem in hardy. Enable desktop effects, an instead of a
reasonable 10/20 pixels around the corner, you have the grab right at
the corner to be able to resize.

Resizing windows was easy in Metacity. Now it is much more difficult.

This should not be a wishlist bug! This makes themes without a visible
border almost completely unusable in compiz.
If the metacity theme xml file in the section frame_geometry defines
left_width and right_width as 1 or 0, the window becomes very
difficult (1) or impossible (0) to resize.
