Rejected? I can confirm the first bug, and am pretty sure it will stop
any but the most casual users from giving desktop-effects more than a
10-second trial. Rather than simply rejecting bug reports and telling
users to spend more of their free time to re-enter bugs, why not just
parcel them

Please make separate bug reports for these issues. Problems 2 and 5, for
example, are problems in driver/xorg, not compiz. Hard to do proper
triage with this megabug.

maximize/minimize. You have to open a new firefox window to get it work
with compiz.

3. when my mouse hovers on the top-right, Compiz goes into Expose' mode where
all windows becomes clickable. If I instead do not click on a window but on the
desktop itself, all windows minimize. Not sure if this is the indented
behavior, but it's a bit confusing.

the first window still stays drawn and not refreshing the screen.

Thanks for your bug report Eugenia.
There are really too many issues all packed into a single bug report
here (increasing the chances that none of the problems will be
addressed). I know the issues all share compiz in common but please
separate them out as they may not be related...
