Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
I updated packages tonight. After this, cpu usage goes up to almost 100% when I browse to some web site, including ubuntu. But it just happened from time to time, from several minutes to a few seconds. Here is the info from dpkg.log: 2007-03-14 20:00:16 upgrade update-manager 0.45 0.45.2 2007-03-14 20:00:16 status half-configured update-manager 0.45 2007-03-14 20:00:35 status unpacked update-manager 0.45 2007-03-14 20:00:36 status half-installed update-manager 0.45 2007-03-14 20:00:38 status half-installed update-manager 0.45 2007-03-14 20:00:42 status unpacked update-manager 0.45.2 2007-03-14 20:00:42 status unpacked update-manager 0.45.2 2007-03-14 20:00:43 status unpacked update-manager 0.45.2 2007-03-14 20:00:43 status half-configured update-manager 0.45.2 2007-03-14 20:00:55 status installed update-manager 0.45.2 Thanks.
