I have tested the update-manager-core package by running 'sudo do-
release-upgrade -d' on an Edgy server install. It worked well. One
thing that I noticed however was that when I pressed 'd' for details
regarding packages being removed I was not returned a new prompt with my
available options. I

I don't see this package in edgy-proposed either, did you forget to
actually upload it?
