Ah, that's a relief. The format of .freeciv-client-rc-2.2 and friends isn't documented, but the options you mention are reachable in the game UI on the View menu, and in the client options (Game / Options / Local client); there is more documentation in the latter. -- You received this bug

I can't reproduce this. (Admittedly I'm not actually using the 2.2.7 package on Oneiric -- I'm using self-compiled 2.2.7 code on Lucid -- but I'd be surprised if that made a difference.) Can you provide a bit more detail -- perhaps a paired savegame and screenshot showing the problem? What

Somehow the clientrc contained setting client.draw_pollution=0. I don't know how that could happen and I cannot imagine how this option could possibly be useful, but manually editing the file and fixing the setting to 1 resolved the problem. BTW, are these options documented somewhere? E.g., what
