I am using Ubuntu 11.10 and when ever I connect beagleboard-xm embedded
device to the serial port of my machine and turn it on, the machine
restarts. It happens on all serial port applications like gtkterm,
cutecom, etc. I think its a bug with the serial port driver or the
kernel. The serial port settings are 115200, no parity, 8 bits, 1 stop
bit, no flow control.

The same machine work properly on Windows XP + Hyperterminal.
