I'm new to Ubuntu package management and may have misunderstood the
purpose of a sync request. My intention is to get MegaGlest 3.6.0.3
(which has now entered Debian Testing) into Precise before it's too
late. It is only a bugfix over the version which already
A sync request is a request to take Debian's current package, exactly as
it is.
If we need to carry over modifications that we have in Ubuntu, it becomes a
merge request. This should include a debdiff, against the current version in
Debian, to re-apply the Ubuntu modifications.
