I can confirm that the bug does only appear when using Metacity. Under
compiz, everything works fine.

Confirming, problem still there in Feisty beta.
I also notice there is no maximise button on the window title bar - just
minimise and close buttons. Don't know it it's relevant but it's a
change since Edgy.

This one, I suspect, needs gxine to be rebuilt with "./configure
--enable-lock-debugging && make debug"; stderr output is of interest.
Also, a backtrace (when gxine is frozen) may be of further help; with
gdb, run gxine with "./gxine-test --gdb"; you'll need to use "thread
apply all bt" to get the
I can confirm this too on Feisty with newest updates. Launching DVD
movie in gxine and then taking it full screen freezes gxine.
