Ok, i assume that the problem will be fixed in the beta? After running the command a i choosed manually for i810. Section "Device" Identifier "Generic Video Card" Driver "i810" BusID "PCI:0:2:0" It still says "Generic Video Card" -- the intel 965q

Ok, then you can run 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg'. Discover-data was updated after Herd5, and seems that you have the old xorg.conf left. After running that command you should have a proper setup. -- the intel 965q is not recognized automaticly, ubuntu uses the vesa driver instead
