I thought this was a regression, this happened in Oneiric beta and a bug
was opened in order to *not* remember old searches. But if this is
design-intended...

I read the other two reports. I then really played with the feature,
keeping in mind the reason for the behavior. I still believe that it
gets in the way of the function of the dash. To use any other feature on
any particular lens you have to clear the search bar for that lens
first. There has to b

I'd appreciate that, because I think it made more sense before we got
the new home lens. Now it seems kind of destructive, since it makes it
more difficult to find the most frequent applications, which is a very
important part of the main idea.

than select our result than when we open dash again it remembers the
previous search
