Public bug reported: I am running Xubuntu 11.10 64-bit. I have xfce4-power-manager set to dim my screen to 20% after 120 seconds of inactivity, and I have xscreensaver set to switch my display off after 10 minutes. This works fine, but I have noticed that sometimes (and I cannot find any pattern to it yet), when I mave the mouse or use the keyboard after more than 10 minutes of inactivity, the monitor switches back on, but does not return to normal brightness (it stays at 20%). Sometimes it works properly, though, which is very strange.
