Ok this got my wireless working, thanks.
I would claim that it does not fix the real problem though. The ipw3945
driver shows up in the restricted drivers manager, and all seems well.
Unless I knew about the ipw daemon and had basic skills in debugging
driver/wireless problems I would have been ut
got linux-restricted-modules-generic installed? This will likely solve
your problem (after you reboot).
