Both alt and altgr produces an unexpected comma character when pressed
after other msc. characters in the "to" and "cc" input fields in

No problem with gedit. The bug seems to affect just To:, CC:, Bcc:,
fields of evolution package. No problem with other mail fields (e.g.
gmail). I experienced it with french localisation too.

I can reproduce by pressing Alt, but I think this is normal since that`s
being caught by the HUD normally. For anything else, I`d say it`s
localization-related. I can`t begin to explain why this would happen
only in evolution, but I also know that evolution doesn`t treat AltGr
specially.

disabling the HUD short-key as mentioned in #23 doesn't fix it any more.

Hi, I can confirm this bug on Ubuntu 13.10 with "German (eliminate dead
keys)" keyboard setting. In order to procude the '@' character with a
German keyboard, you have to press and hold 'AltGr', then press 'q', the

Confirm this bug in Ubuntu 14.04 Evolution 3.10.4, Keyboard German (Austria).
For reproduction it is sufficient to press 'Alt Gr' after at least one
character in the "To" field. No further keystrike required. Comma and blank
appear immediate at keystrike.

I do NOT agree with expiring this bug. The problem is still present.
Easy to reproduce: italian keyboard, press AltGr key and you get ", "
(comma followed by a blank character), in the text fields To:, Cc:,
Bcc: as again showed in the attached screen shot. Note that using an
italian keyboard the
Same behaviour on Swiss keyboard (CH-fr), where the @ character is
obtained by pressing "AltGr + 2".
What's interesting: if pressed as first character in the blank To, CC or BCC
