Title:
bugs reported by apport missing essential information
To manage
One way that I found out about these is looking at bugs without a
package. I haven't seen any apport crashes missing this information
there in the past couple of days. Additionally, perusing the ubuntu-
bugs mailing list I couldn't find any either.

You received this bug notification because
There is a high chance that this was another kind of fallout from the
threads-in-threads confusion from the original whoopsie merge, and that
Apport 1.94 (now in precise) fixes this.
If anyone can reproduce this with 1.94, can you please describe exactly
what you did when reporting that report?
This seems like another fallout of the whoopsie-merge. It seems in some
cases the report is transmitted before data collection happens or is
finished.
I was unable so far to reproduce this. I already added 4 test cases each
for the GTK/KDE frontend which ensure that data collection happens for
bug 943967 is another example of this and the reporter added their
.crash file too. They indicate they were upgrading from Oneiric to
Precise, I wonder if that is a common theme.
