I’ve written a very simple, basic patch using udev rules that changes the device permissions to “crw-rw-rw- root video” It works for me on my WeTab with it’s builtin BCM70015 chip. (I’m not sure if the attached file should be marked as a patch, but since it solves the problem, I‘ll mark it as
