I'm still getting crashes - three this morning shortly after logging on.
The only app open was Firefox, and this crashed as it was loading,
taking X with it. This also happened yesterday. After logging in three
times, the crashes stopped. Weird.
I'd appreciate any advice as per #8.

Bryce - I've had several more crashes. They're happening on a daily
basis - sometimes two or three times a day. I'm thinking about giving up
on Ubuntu and trying something else. I read the link you posted, but
there's a problem: in the gdb instructions it states, Now do what you
need to make the X

After a period of a few days without a crash, a couple of days ago I
uninstalled xul-ext-ubufox and almost immediately got a crash but I have
no idea if it's related. I re-installed xul-ext-ubufox in case that was
it, but I got another
