Thibaut,
if I understand you correct you wish to have a feedback that indicate
that kazam is not freez and just doing work until it finished.
A progress bar would do it I think.
You should think of that this problem is limitid to old hardware. On newer
system this surely no problem.

Thats correct.
I think its quite important to inform the user whats going on. That was the
intent of writing this but report.
