This can be fixed by installing compizconfig-settings-manager and tuning the edge resistance values. I was able to get a good results with: Launcher Reveal Edge Responsiveness = 1 Launcher Reveal Pressure = 1 Launcher Edge Stop Overcome Pressure = 1 Pressure Decay Rate = 1 Edge Stop Velocity = 1
