Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cryptsetup
cryptsetup is supposed to ask for a password up to 3 times by default (if you fail to enter it correctly). This does not happend with my version (2:1.0.4+svn26-1ubuntu1) The flag "--tries" which is supposed to change the default of 3 times, does not work either. The exact command which I executed is: /sbin/cryptsetup --timeout=180 --tries=2 luksOpen /dev/loop0 noam-encrypted Best regards, Noam Meltzer ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Mar 23 13:34:18 2007 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.04 Uname: Linux meydele 2.6.20-12-generic #2 SMP Sat Mar 17 22:55:16 UTC 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux ** Affects: cryptsetup (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- cryptsetup does not retry after failed password https://launchpad.net/bugs/95044 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
