Is it possible to update swfdec to 0.4.3?
The version found in feisty is almost of no use (YouTube and similar sites do
not work). There are no packages that depends on it (except gst-plugins-bad).
And it is the easiest way for people on amd64 and ppc to play flash files.

People on amd64 will install this for sure, there is no way to change
that, but if the package is not in the Ubuntu repositories people will
start to add 3rd party repos, don't know if this is desirable.

I think it's worth the trouble.
With the old version almost nothing works, with the new even some flash video
sites work, that's a big improvement over the previous situation.
Let's see it as a bugfix ...

Sorry, I didn't expect the new version to go into feisty fawn and I
definitely don't think that it's worth breaking the upstream freeze for
it. Unlewss someone else thinks otherwise I'd only approach this in
feisty+1.
