It seems that the frequency is actually higher than the 50 Hz reported
by Ubuntu in System - Preferences - Screen resolution. When I call up
the BIOS of my TFT screen, by pressing the physical button on my TFT
screen, it shows that it is running on 60 Hz (which is the ideal
frequency).
I have
Punting from Ubuntu - linux-restricted-modules-2.6.20 . Moving from
needsinfo - unconfirmed.
