Okay, I see it now.
In System Settings->Appearance it is "Reveal sensitivity" and then in
Compiz Config, Unity plugin, setting "Launcher Reveal Edge
Responsiveness" and "Launcher Reveal Pressure".

I installed both libxfixes3 (which was already there) and libxfixes-dev,
but the problem is not fixed.

Launcher mouse revealing does not w
It is still not fixed for me. Most of the time only shadow shows,
instead of the launcher.
Other times, first shadow appears for one second and only then the full
launcher.
It's strange, as launcher, when it's fully visible, doesn't have a
shadow under its right edde.
I've been trying to install
@ Audrey. Such partial upgrades are common during the cycle. Just wait a
while and try again. The dependencies should get sorted out.

I also updated, and the problem seems to be gone. The only updates
installed were libxfixes3 and libxfixes-dev, both to 1:5.0-4ubuntu3.

Seems like it's fixed now.
- uninstalled Gwibber and gwibber service.
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
- rebooted and issue fixed.
