Thanks, I had the same problem : no long HTML and no PNG and now with
this new line in /etc/apache2/apache2.conf, I see it properly !

I develop a small router running from IDE flash disks with union filesystem and
apache.
There are some similar attempts on the net, so the problem is not so abstract
as running apache from LiveCD.

I am confirming this bug, but I think it should not be fixed for three
reasons:
1. Using a live cd for providing a web server is not appropriate. Live cds are
for desktop systems.
2. Disabling sendfile will slow down Apache by default.
3. This is not an apache bug.
