RüdiCoerdt, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release

Resource conflict in modules it87 and asus_atk0110
To m
Joseph,
I'm a bit ashamed but I don't know how to add the tag
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream' as requested by you. I couldn't find any hint in
the FAQs, help page and so on. Sorry for that. I added uname -a and dmesg
output as a new comment.
Regards
Rüdiger

Problem persists when using upstream kernel as recommended.
uname -a:
Linux RudisPC 3.3.0-030300rc7-generic #201203101735 SMP Sat Mar 10 22:36:28 UTC
2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
dmesg:
[ 11.602228] asus_atk0110: Resources not safely usable due to
acpi_enforce_resources kernel parameter
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.3 kernel[1] (Not a kernel in the daily directory). Once you've
tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing'
tag(Only that on
