Can you please try again with either kernel 3.4.11 from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ or with the Ubuntu 12.10
"Quantal Quetzal" beta 2 LiveCD which is based on the upstream 3.5
kernel.
